PwC UK Welcomes Risk Modeling Partner

Ross Evans has joined PwC UK as a partner in the risk line of service’s risk modeling services (RMS) business unit.

Evans’ new goal is to make PwC the go-to firm for capital management and investment advice in the insurance industry. He will accomplish this by focusing on high-value clients and supporting risk-growth strategies to boost insurance sector revenue over the next three years.

He will also collaborate with the rest of PwC’s ESG team to develop this area’s ESG offering.

Evans has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. He worked as a senior consultant for PwC from 2002 to 2008. He has held senior positions in the industry since then, with key responsibilities in investment strategies and investment risks for asset-intensive reinsurance transactions.

Evans was most recently the head of investment solutions for the EMEA region at the Reinsurance Group of America. He has returned to PwC UK.

“We are thrilled that Ross has become a partner at PwC,” said Colin Cummings, head of actuarial life insurance at PwC UK. “The UK life and pensions industry is undergoing unprecedented transformations and will do so for many years to come. This is due to changes in accounting and rules, as well as the fact that these long-term businesses will need to change how they work with customers and meet their needs in the future. As a result, Ross’s appointment will help our risk team grow at a critical juncture.”
