BSNL does not offer any installation charges on the fibre-to-the-home plans. Users can select and start with the new plan by just paying the monthly amount itself. However, in some circles, the telco might ask for installation charges as the rebate is a circle-specific offer.

In the listing from BSNL Chennai, the plan is available to all users in the circle. Once a user exceeds the day’s FUP, the speed will be lowered to 2Mbps. The new plan appears next to the existing plans of Rs 777, Rs 1,277 and Rs 3,999. According to the listing on the BSNL Kolkata’s website, the plan reveals similar benefits along with the cashback offer on an annual subscription basis.
